i made a small journey to water valley ms to finally get a roland jazz chorus so i used it a bunch for the guitars here. also took a shot at double drum overdubs on the mats cover. might as well make it double bass too. no drums on the red house painters cover to make up for it.
june 2017, recorded in the crypt in memphis, tn

guitars for "Rollercoaster" recorded through a Roland Jazz Chorus 55 and 2 Ekotape 205 reel-to-reels via the trusty Tascam 38/308
bounced to the Teac A-4010S stereo deck, then back to the 38
vocals added to the 38
drums for "Johnny's Gonna Die" recorded to the 38, recorded again, bass added, then mixed down to the Teac A-4010S, and back to the 38
vocals, guitar, and percussion added to the 38
transferred to and lightly mixed and mastered in pro tools
