i had an idea to do the Beach Boys and the Ramones as each other and mix them in mono, which i've never done before. this is possibly the worst idea i've ever had and some corpses have definitely rolled over in the grave during the process. while we weren't able to gather 30 other musicians to do a true wall of sound, i moved some things around to sort of recreate that sound for the BB side and kept the Ramones side simple. credits to Dustin Wright for showing me that video of Mike Love going "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" and partially inspiring this single.

i had an idea to do the Beach Boys and the Ramones as each other and mix them in mono, which i've never done before. this is possibly the worst idea i've ever had and some corpses have definitely rolled over in the grave during the process. while we weren't able to gather 30 other musicians to do a true wall of sound, i moved some things around to sort of recreate that sound for the BB side and kept the Ramones side simple. credits to Dustin Wright for showing me that video of Mike Love going "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" and partially inspiring this single.

Honey Power is maybe my favorite one i've done so far. couldn't figure out a way to make the backward lead guitar part like i wanted but it turned out good anyway. untitled instrumental ambient outro included.

The Who might be my favorite Classic Rock Band. there's something very unique about their style of composition that nobody ever really tried to duplicate. this song is a particular standout, because i've never heard any other hit song attempt to do a similar rhythm. Zach was a champ and blast beated his way to victory. took a little pro tools editing but that's better than razor blading it. another ZM banger on the b-side. both of us have a soft spot for "Yield." i think it's the best of their second era. found an og copy of the record for $4 at the head shop in hburg, god bless.
